O-Rings
Trelleborg O-Rings are the most widely used seals because they are efficient and economical and can be used in a wide variety of static and dynamic applications. O-Rings can be used to seal practically all liquid and gaseous media and they are available in elastomeric and other materials including EPDM, FKM and NBR, among others.

A 70 durometer VMQ. VMQ has excellent heat resistance, cold flexibility, dielectric properties, and especially good resistance to weather, ozone, and UV rays. VMQ has an operating range between -50°C and 175°C, but can withstand up to 230°C for a short period of time.

Commercial Description:
A 70 durometer, NBR elastomer. The properties of the nitrile rubber depend mainly on the ACN content which ranges between 18 % and 50 %. In general it has good mechanical properties with an operating temperature range of between -30 °C and +100 °C. NBR is mostly used with mineral based oils and greases and is a good choice for standard applications. Used also as an energizer in T46N, M12N, Z20N, and Z52N.

Commercial Description:
A 70 durometer EPDM. EPDM shows good heat, ozone, and ageing resistance. In addition it also exhibits high levels of elasticity, good low temperature behaviour, as well as good insulating properties. The operating temperatures of applications for EPDM range between -45°C and +130°C. EPDM can often be found in applications with brake fluids (based on glycol) and hot water.
